



The swim is a semi-rectangular course. Athletes will enter the the water on the North Boat Dock and will swim one lap in a counterclockwise direction and exit on the South Boat Dock. Athletes will have a short 20 yard run to transition. They will then enter the South end of transition and bike exit on the North end of transition.
First wave starts at 6:40 AM - Limit of 150 per wave - 13 -14 waves at 5 min. intervals - last wave will start at 7:45 or 7:50 AM
Two Lap Course -- Athletes will go right as they leave the bike/run transition and follow 1415 toward the park entrance. Athletes will turn around at the first intersection and head back toward T-2.
Athletes will follow 1415 Road to the lower boat docks (swim start) and turn around at the South boat dock.
Athletes will return East on 1415 Road turning right into Clinton Campground #3 and will go all the way around Campground #3.
Athletes will turn around near the transition in Campground #3 and go around the inside of the Campground. Athletes will then turn LEFT from the inside look to get back on to 1415 and do the same loop as the first.
Course Hydration
Each bike station will serve water and Gatorade Endurance Formula (orange flavor). This Gatorade Endurance will be served cold and given to athlete in the “Edge” bottle that is made for bike cages. There will be 12 aid stations on the run course – approximately every mile. Each station will serve Gatorade Endurance Formula (lemon-lime flavor) and water. This Gatorade Endurance will be served cold and given to athletes in cups.
